Under the title of Lord Transform Me. Bahamas Academy will be hosting its Spring Week of Prayer with Pastor Alex Abednego.

Pastor Alex Abednego is a native of the British Virgin Islands and is a proud product of Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Jamaica, University of the Southern Caribbean in Trinidad, and Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, USA. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and Pastoral ministry, and also a Master’s Degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology. After undergraduate preparation, Alex served as a district pastor in The North Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Here he found a tremendous passion for winning souls for Christ and began honing essential skills for the ministry of evangelism. Alex is happily married to his life partner Leomi, and they are blessed with three adult sons all residents of South Bend, Indiana. He enjoys the adventures of traveling, Power Boat Cruising, X-Plane, Ancestry.com, and making new friends. After Graduate studies at Andrews University, Alex has enjoyed working as a Lay Pastor and Volunteer International Evangelist. In recent years, his passion for evangelism has led him across the United States of America, Mexico, The United Kingdom, The Virgin Islands, and other Caribbean countries. Elder Abednego’s greatest thrill comes from making new friends, seeing souls respond to God’s call, and then become fellow disciples leading others to Jesus. He is totally convinced that knowing Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior is the most important thing in the world and that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is God’s Remnant, with a unique message for these days of apocalyptic gravity.
