A Godly Place

All members of our staff are active Christian - educated and guided by the Master Teacher – Christ Jesus. In addition, Bahamas Academy conducts daily worship in the classrooms and a Week of Prayer session twice per school year.

Healthy Lifestyle

We encourage healthy lifestyles; as such our cafeterias serve well-balanced vegetarian meals.Also, we provide Physical Education classes design to equip students with the knowledge of acquiring a healthy lifestyle.

Flexible Plans

Bahamas Academy understands the financial challenges in your day-to-day life. As such, we designed flexible payment plans that will make financing easy and affordable. Simply contact us to find a plan that fits you.

Extracurricular

We are well equipped with extracurricular activities geared towards increasing training and socialization to help students now and in the future. Among these are clubs and teams in the Elementary and Secondary divisions.

Disciplining

We believe that disciplining creates character, and we hold ourselves and our students to this belief. The goal of discipline is self control. When reward is due, it is given; however, when discipline is needed it is administered also.

APPLICATION & ENROLLMENT

Application Process

The following should be submitted by all interested candidates to begin the application process:
  • Application Form (see Resources & Downloads page to download)
  • Previous school's official records and transcripts (not applicable for ELC and Grade 1)
  • Copy of applicant's Birth Certificate or first four (4) pages of passport.*
  • $30 non-refundable Application Fee & $100 Tuition Deposit
* Verification of parents status is needed for non-Bahamian citizens.

Applicants applying for our Early Learning Center (ELC) must:
  • Be at least two years of age (note we accept ELC students year round)
Applicants applying for Elementary and Secondary Division must:
  • Sit Bahamas Academy Entrance Exam

Enrollment Process

Students who have successfully completed the application will go through an enrollment process before entering Bahamas Academy. This process will consist of the following:
  • A meeting between parent, applicant and admissions
  • A meeting with Bahamas Academy Business Office Personnel to finalize payment
  • An orientation at Bahamas Academy

Note: When enrolling for Elementary or Secondary Division, Bahamas Academy will assess the applicant's grade base on entrance exam results, age and previous schools data.
