- Bahamas Academy Early Learning

The Early Learning Center was
officially opened on Monday, December 11, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., by
the Hon. Perry Christie, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the
Bahamas. Also attending the ceremony were former
principals and coordinators including Dr. Althea McMillan,
Mrs. Estherlean Ash, Mrs. Mary Brennen, Mrs. Madeline Hanna, and Ms.
Desiree Brown. The keynote address was given Prime
Minister and Dr. Wendell McMillan, field secretary of the West
Indies Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. gave
special remarks. Leading out in the
ceremony were the chairman of the school board, Dr. Leonard Johnson,
the executive secretary, Pastor Eric Clarke, and the Conference
treasurer, Mr. C. Melvin Lewis. At the close of the
ceremony, awards and certificates of appreciation were given to
former principals and coordinators of Bahamas Academy Elementary
Division and to workers of Volunteer Bahamas Adventists who built
the school. |
